Bachelor of Music; and University of Michigan, Ann
Arbor, Violin Performance. Her teaching experience
includes the Metropolitan Youth Symphony Conductor,
String Orchestra; Bloomfield Hills Schools Orchestra
Director/Music Department Chairman; and Berkley School
District Orchestra Director. |

Julie Rose
MS Michigan State University
(also teaches voice) |
Ms. Rose graduated from Michigan State University and
studied voice extensively with Gean Greenwell (MSU),
Marjorie Gordon (WSU) and Jan Albright (OU). She has
also had Master Classes and coaching from many prominent
teachers, the most recent being Richard Miller at
Oberlin Conservatory of Music. Julie has taught voice
and basic piano in her studio in Southfield and at the
Art Center Music School for many years. Her most unique
solo performances were the Michigan premier of
Fanshawe’s African Sanctus at Wayne State
University featuring a tour-de-force virtuoso soprano
solo; in the title role of Purcell’s Dido and Aeneas
at Ford World Headquarters; and the premier of two
American works at the Clare College Cambridge Choral
Festival. |
